The delegation intends to extend its visit throughout the nation. Firstly, the delegation met the Minister for Agriculture and Forests, Nicolás Utondji Akapo, the president of the Bioko Chamber of Commerce, Gregorio Boho Camo, and the Secretary of State for Agriculture, Pedro Oliveira Borupu, in Malabo.
The entrepreneurs are interested in investing in the agricultural sector at all levels. Following this visit, it is expected that Equatoguinean entrepreneurs will visit India in order to set up intrasectoral cooperation.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce spoke about the willingness to cooperation in the future in this sector, “They are very interested in working with Equatorial Guinea, and we are also willing to work with India in order to mechanise agriculture and those farmers who wish to do so, because very soon they will be able to work with Indian entrepreneurs, who are very happy with Equatoguinean products, because they are organic”.
