The African spouses of the Heads of Missions leads a charitable group called Asahom. Mrs. Delicia Mbela, Spouse of the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea is the President of ASAHOM who is been elected by the all African Spouses of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions in New Delhi. ASAHOM is to help for those who are in need and we do other activities. Asahom has been in existence from last 24 years and consists of spouses of the Heads of African Diplomatic Missions accredited to India. Asahom is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profitable association. It’s an association who works especially in the area of ​​disadvantaged children. It’s an association that donates towards the school of orphanages, mosques, churches and help the poor people who are in need. For this ASAHOM do different types of activities. This time ASAHOM organised an event in Hotel ITC Maurya on 21st June 2019 which was very successful followed by the speech of the President, Mrs. Delicia Mbela, Vice President, Mrs. Mapulane Phohleli Tsikoane (Spouse of the Ambassador of Lesotho), Zambiam High commissioner, Ms. Judith K. K. Kan’goma-Kapijimpanga, Chief Guest Hon. Shri L. Suryanarayana Tejasvi (Member of Parliament) and His Excellency Mr. Frank Hans, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic (Dean of Diplomatic Corps, accredited in India).

ASAHOM Las esposas africanas de los Jefes de Misiones lideran un grupo caritativo llamado Asahom. La Sra. Delicia Mbela, esposa del Embajador de Guinea Ecuatorial, es la Presidenta de ASAHOM, que ha sido elegida por todas las esposas africanas de los Jefes de Misiones Diplomáticas en Nueva Delhi. ASAHOM es ayudar a los necesitados y nosotros hacemos otras actividades. Asahom ha existido desde los últimos 24 años y está formado por los cónyuges de los Jefes de Misiones Diplomáticas Africanas acreditados en la India. Asahom es una asociación no gubernamental, no política, no religiosa y no lucrativa. Es una asociación que trabaja especialmente en el área de niños desfavorecidos. Es una asociación que dona a la escuela ha orfanatos, mezquitas, iglesias y ayuda a los pobres que están en necesidad. Para esto, ASAHOM realiza diferentes tipos de actividades. Esta vez, ASAHOM organizó un evento en el Hotel ITC Maurya el 21 de junio de 2019 que tuvo mucho éxito, seguido del discurso de la Presidenta, Sra. Delicia Mbela, Vicepresidenta, Sra.
