The acts included in the official programme of the International Solar Alliance Summit (ISA), began yesterday, Saturday 10th March, for the Equatoguinean delegation, with meetings between the Equatorial Guinea Head of State and Indian leaders.

The first audience was held with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi; a cordial meeting in which the two politicians congratulated each other for their countries’ participation in the ISA Summit. These congratulations extended to the diplomatic activities of the two nations, with ambassadors to represent their respective nations.

Minutes later, the Equatoguinean delegation went to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace, the official residence of the President of India, where H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo received a warm welcome from his counterpart, H. E. Ram Nath Kovind.

The Equatoguinean President also took part in a State dinner that the hist Government offered to the respective delegations attending the ISA forum, such as those led by the Presidents of Gabon and France. It was the first time that the Equatorial Guinea Head of State had visited the Indian presidential palace, and for that reason, before leaving, he left his impressions in the palace visitors’ book.

The ISA Summit begins today, 11th March, and is committed to promoting the development of renewable energy sources.
