Mrs Delicia Mbela, the spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, being recently elected as the President of the Association of Spouses of African Heads of Missions (ASAHOM) in New Delhi hosted an inaugural meeting followed by lunch at the residence. During the gathering, the activities for the year 2019 were discussed, led by Mrs Delicia Mbela. The gathering was very well received by distinguished guests.

ASAHOM founded in 2003 has members from most of the African countries, making it an important multicultural body, which aim is to promote the culture of represented countries and work together for the benefit of local communities in India. The Association is known for a great involvement in supporting women in India, including organising well-known charity events, proceedings of which go to NGOs.
