Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, signed the message of condolence and repulsion regarding the crime. We are publishing here the full text of that message.

 

“Message of condolence and repulsion from H. E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, regarding the cruel case of the murder by Esteban Ebulabate Sabana, resident of Rebola,of his 9-year-old daughter, Aida Ebulabate.

On receiving the cruel and painful news regarding the tragic death in the La Paz Clinic in Malabo of a 9-year-old girl, Aida Ebulabate, after having had petrol poured on her and then set alight by her own father, Esteban Ebulabate Sabana. Faced with such an unusual, criminal act in Equatoguinean society, I wish to express my huge indignation, repulsion and condemnation of this lamentable event, while calling on the competent judicial authorities to ensure that the author of this crime is judged in accordance with the Penal Code.
