On 15th of December H.E. Manuel Mbela Bama Ndong, Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea along with 71 Heads of Missions in New Delhi visited Prayagraj to for the grand Kumbh Mela that will be held in January 2019. Kumbh Mela, in Hinduism, is a religious pilgrimage that is celebrated four times over a course of 12 years. The geographical location of Kumbh Mela spans over four locations in India and the Mela site keeps rotating between one of the four pilgrimages.

Foreign diplomats accompanied by Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh were apprised about crowd management of the largest human congregation on the Earth.
